More Than Just Toys: The Power of Giving Childhood Back

At Curious Cubs Foundation, we believe that every child deserves a joyful childhood filled with play, learning, and love—regardless of their circumstances. Our mission isn’t just about delivering toys. It’s about bringing smiles, sparking imagination, and creating little moments of magic for children in care centers and foster homes across Canada.

The Story Behind Every Toy

Each toy we donate carries a story—a story of hope, kindness, and a community that cares. Whether it's a soft plush companion, a Montessori busy board, or a travel book designed for curious little hands, our toys are chosen not only for fun but to nurture creativity and early learning.

Behind every donated toy is someone like you—a caring soul who decided to give back. Some choose to purchase a toy for themselves and a child in need. Others give two toys away, choosing to bring joy without expecting anything in return. And some contribute to our “Where Most Needed” fund, enabling us to support programs far beyond toys—like classroom learning sessions, play area builds, and meals for little tummies.

Giving Looks Different for Everyone

Not everyone can afford to buy a toy—and that’s okay. Some people donate $10, others give more. Some volunteer their time, skills, or voices to share our cause. Every gesture, big or small, makes a difference.

When you support Curious Cubs, you’re not just donating—you’re helping rebuild the wonder and innocence that every child deserves.

What’s Next?

In the coming months, we’ll be visiting local child care centers to hand-deliver toys and run learning sessions with volunteers. We’re working on launching our first mobile “Play & Learn Corner” and we need your help—whether that’s through donations, sharing our message, or volunteering with us.

Together, we’re not just delivering toys.
We’re giving back childhood.
